Pre-Health Career Guidance Day
Pre-Occupation community successfully organised the Pre-Health Career Guidance Day, featuring Dr. Chan Wah Kheong as the honoured speaker. The session provided students with an authentic glimpse into the medical profession, highlighting the realities of a doctor’s daily life, the emotional and physical challenges faced in healthcare, and the long yet rewarding journey of medical education and specialisation.

IGCSE Physics Study Session
On March 21st, Isabelle Woo, one of ProjectEnlight’s tutor, hosted a study session for IGCSE Physics (0625), in which she gave an in-depth run-through of Space Physics. This session attracted over 120+ interested members and was a success!

IGCSE Additional Math Study Session
On March 22nd, Braedon Wong, one of ProjectEnlight’s tutor, hosted a study session for IGCSE Additional Mathematics (0606) in which they gave an in-depth runthrough of Trigonometry. This session attracted over 100+ interested members and was a success!

On the 28th of March, Gabriel, one of ProjectEnlight’s host, hosted a study session for IGCSE Chemistry (0620/0971) in which they gave an in-depth runthrough of Organic Chemistry, Quantitative Chemistry, & Chemical Analysis.

Our Mission
ProjectEnlight is a youth-focused initiative dedicated to providing teenagers with valuable knowledge and insights about their future career journeys, university pathways, and personal development opportunities. At its core, the project seeks to empower students to make informed decisions about their academic and professional futures.
A core project of ProjectEnlight is the Pre-Occupation Community, established within schools to host career talks featuring professionals from diverse industries. These sessions allow students to explore various career paths firsthand and interact with mentors who share their experiences and challenges.
Another key initiative is ProjectEnlight’s tutoring programme, Tutor.net Through TutorNet, students receive personalized mentorship from two dedicated mentors: a Core Mentor, who provides subject-specific guidance, and an Academic Consultant, who offers holistic academic support. TutorNet also includes subject-based community group chats where mentees can ask questions and receive guidance from multiple mentors, creating a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
